    Label:

Very cool label - bright, vivid, and shows a picture of the sauce's namesake!!

    Looks:

Thick, rich-looking, and just the right consistency to flow easily without clogging up the bottle neck

    Aroma:

This sauce smells absolutely mouth-watering from the moment you open the bottle!!

    Taste:

An excellent blend of all the flavors - very balanced!! It has that hot sauce burn without being truly painful.

    Heat:

This sauce is hot, but not so hot that it overpowers the great taste of the ingredients.

    Overall:

I never really was much of a hot sauce fan until I started using the sauces made by the Undertaker at Halloween Hot Sauce. This sauce is another of his. His products, including this one, have convinced me that it's not necessary to sacrifice good flavor for Scoville points. A BIG thumbs-up for Doyle's Made in Hell Hot Sauce!!

    Label:

Doyle's Made in Hell features a shot of the man himself (Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein) wreathed in flames. The label is colorful and very stand-out among my collection (as are all Halloween Hot Sauce products). You can tell that time and care went into this very professional design.

    Looks:

the sauce itself looks like molten lava in a bottle. It is THICK (which is such a nice change of pace), the visible course ground spices remind me more of a marinara sauce than hot sauce, even though there are no tomato elements in the sauce at all. This is all pepper and spice.

    Aroma:

From first whiff, this sauce smells like it was crafted by a fine culinary hand, (and it was). You can smell the rich blend of basil, oregano and peppers. There's absolutely no way you could smell this sauce and refuse a taste.

    Taste:

Much like the smell, the taste is a feast for all senses. Each element listed on the label is distinctly there, and yet no one flavor overpowers the other. This is a hot sauce made for everyone, for any meal.

    Heat:

I'm going to say something that will divide the hot sauce community - Hot sauce should NEVER be all about the heat exclusively. In my opinion, anyone can make a 'hot' sauce - but it takes finesse, skill and trial and error to make a gourmet, enjoyable sauce. If you are the type of person who only enjoys the taste of raw Carolina Reaper, or if you're looking for a sauce to buy to set ablaze your friend who goes on-and-on about how they can handle any heat - this is not the sauce for you. This is a sauce for people who enjoy spicy foods. I do feel that the sliding rule for 'Heat' on this section is a bit unfair, because it lowers the overall rating of the product. Perhaps this will be fixed on a newer version of this site.

    Overall:

Created and bottled on-site in north Georgia, Doyle's Made in Hell is created in small batches and tends to sell out quickly. If you fall under the umbrella term of "gourmet hot sauce fanatic" I recommend you visit the website (and subsidiary site Halloween Hot Sauce) for all of your needs. Not only will you receive a quality product (with spooky extras thrown in each package) - You'll be supporting a small business with the best sauce on the market, ran by one of the nicest, most passionate guys you'll ever meet. Drop The Undertaker a line!

    Label:

The overall look and feel of the labeling nails the aesthetic that Doyle puts forth in his music and stage persona, and is a fitting eye catcher for this hot sauce. Nice clear imagery, information layout, and color usage. Most labels on other brands can't touch the finesse put in this one.

    Looks:

Thick, robust, hearty, and just... it feels like you've added additional punch to the main aspect of your burger, steak, salad, whatever. This was the first hot sauce that felt like it could go on anything seamlessly just on looks alone. When you can see the crushed black pepper in it, you know it's not playing around.

    Aroma:

Open the bottle, and your mouth will water. Seriously, sitting here right now just THINKING about it, makes me remember it's aromatic assault. It has this succulent pull on the olfactory senses that makes you immediately want to read the ingredients label.

    Taste:

The black pepper, cayenne, and oh MY god, the BASIL and OREGANO are the first ones that hit me in this maelstrom of flavors that came to the forefront and were full bodied and unapologetically present without being overpowering. The best part is how it enhances smoked meats and grilled foods. It just wraps the smokey, fire tinged fare you are serving in a layer of pure enjoyment. The aftertaste does linger in the best of ways, like when you've eaten something that just begs to be revisited again.

    Heat:

Heat isn't everything, but Doyle's hot sauce does come on like a smoldering demon. You know it's going to hit, but the fantastic thing about this sauce is it's a slow build of a burn that can intensify if you pour it on (and because of it's flavor and sly heat build, you will). It's not going to obliterate your food in ghost pepper shenanigans, but it's no shrinking violet either.

    Overall:

You can't go wrong with this sauce. You can tell immense care, love, and knowledge borne of experience and pride is curated into every bottle. From the attention grabbing marketing imagery to the contents within, Doyle's is done very very well. Sure, some heat lovers might want a bit more bite, but food lovers looking for something that can not only adorn your food with appetizing color and texture you can SEE, will love this. Never mind that if you are any fan of Doyle, the manly muscular musician, you know his work ethic and hand in all of the things that bear his name, demand the best that can be made. Halloween Hot Sauce brings you that. Thank you Vic, the Undertaker for creating this monsterously great sauce!

    Looks:

Bright colors and visible chunks of goodness, thick and robust.

    Aroma:

Not another vinegar based sauce, you can tell there is a lot of love in this bottle.

    Taste:

This sauce adds wonderful flavor to anything you put it on. All natural ingredients are used and can be tasted in every bite

    Heat:

If you want a practical joke, this is not for you. If you want pain, go somewhere else. This sauce is balanced very well to accent earthy flavors with heat that won't take away the foods natural flavor.

    Overall:

Doyles made in hell hot sauce is one of my favorite sauces due to the fact that you can put it on everything.

    Taste:

I love the blend of flavors here. Not a typical hotsauce. A good depth of spices.

    Heat:

A deep, heavy heat. I find this Hotter than most Hot Sauces on the market.

    Overall:

Loved it! Probably one of the best Hot Sauces on the market. The flavors have a great blend and its CRAZY HOT! This is my go to Hot Sauce. You won't be disappointed!

    Label:

Awesome labeling! He does it all him self and even uses tea to stain his labels to make them look old. He also makes hand made coffins for the sauce. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

    Looks:

Looks amazing. Colors and consistency is on point. Greens reds and specs of death black make this truly a haunted hot sauce.

    Aroma:

I'm addicted. Every time I crack open a bottle I take a big sniff before covering my food with it. I'm not a hot sauce scientist but I know what a good sauce smells like.

    Taste:

Like I said not a hot sauce maker but the taste shocks the taste buds as soon as it hits your mouth. Then the flavors of the sauce go to work haunting my taste buds with its sweet but bold taste. I wish I could go in to more detail about certain things I taste but one thing I did notice was a certain sharpness that just wakes up all your senses and keeps you coming back begging for more. I'll take this stuff straight to the grave with me. ;)

    Heat:

The heat is a nice heat. It burns but not enough to take away from the flavor. It's a perfect mixture between heat and taste. I hate when hot sauces are all heat. This one is just enough heat but not enough to over kill your taste buds.

    Overall:

My favorite hot sauce besides the other one they make called Grinning Skull. The horror theme is awesome and is what got my attention to begin with. When I opened up my first coffin of hot sauce it was like Christmas morning. They came packed with maggots, a little grave yard grass and of course hot sauce. Ordering more after I'm done writing this review!! Doyle's RULES!!! ;)

It's Doyle and looks awesome! 'Nuff said! Love the lightning bolts and evil looking Doyle.

    Looks:

Great thick sauce. You can see the herbs and spices, which I love! Not just ketchup in a bottle here.

    Aroma:

Spicy, so I didn't want to get too far up in there for fear of snorting it into my nasal cavity, but it smells good to me!

    Taste:

Perfect on almost anything. Hell, put it on a salad. It isn't just about heat with this one. The herbs and spices are your bread and butter here. The Undertaker did a great job with this one, with me personally getting huge hits of basil, so it's perfect for the pasta lover.

    Heat:

Deeply satisfying. It's not trying to be a heat bomb, but don't let that fool you, it is definitely a HOT sauce.

    Overall:

Overall, an excellent sauce. Plenty of heat, though it also has flavor. The herbs and spices keep me coming back for more. Being a Doyle fan, I think this suits him just fine. The sauce is so thick that no pouring spout is necessary, so you can practically gnaw on the stuff.

    Label:

Fantastic. Victor puts his time and passion into seemingly every aspect of this (and all of his) products, and it clearly shows through.

    Looks:

The sauce and texture looking from outside of the bottle, comes across as formidable, menacing, and seemingly delicious all at the same time.

    Aroma:

robust and flavorful. Not overpoweringly potent, but you're having hot sauce to eat. Not use as an air freshener.

    Taste:

My family and I love this shit. Period. Its delicious on everything from eggs to quesadillas! We've used it in a variety of different ways; from just smothering on food, to mixing in and cooking it, to adding it to some aioli to give it some kick, to spreading on crackers. This is one of our go-to's. (along with his more mild bloody-bat when we want to keep it more mellow)

    Heat:

I think it's at the perfect amount of heat. It's not the hottest I've tried, but it also doesn't claim to be. It has a perfect balance between flavor and heat. It has a natural presence with the heat too. It doesn't have that 'chemically feeling/tasting' heat that some of the off-the-counter sauces (who usually claim to be the hottest) tend to do.

    Overall:

Bottom Line: I love this shit! The guy who made the first review who "made the account simply to review this" is full of it. He's clearly got something against it. Victor is a great dude who makes a solid, quality product. We're long time, repeat customers too. Been ordering from him since 2009ish. I even had a few bottles sent to Afghanistan so I could liven up the taste of the horrible pre packaged food we'd get. Made tray rats and MREs taste waaaaaaaaaaaaay better
